Born in 1954, Gabriel Gheorghiu is widely recognized as one of Romania's most accomplished contemporary painters. His formal training includes the Academy of Fine Arts from Iasi, Romania.
Since 1978 Gabriel Gheorghiu paintings were part of several national and international group as well as solo exhibitions: 1991 - Hamburg (Germany), 1993 – Udine (Italy), 1994 - Dallas (USA), 2001 Parkova (Moldova), 2006 Chisinau (Moldova), 2010 Iasi (Romania), 2011 Barcelona (Spain).
Gabriel Gheorghiu paintings are part of private and corporate collections throughout Europe and North-America.
